It adopts the methodology of building and developing standards and curricula for humanitarian and development work. It was established in 2020, making its head quarters at Sudan and a branch is under development in the Republic of Somalia. The Centre carries out project evaluation studies and measures their impact according to the latest international standards and tools. The Centre brings with it the experiences and skills of many experts working in humanitarian work around the world.
The Centre also works in innovative ways and tools to document the experiences and projects of organizations and associations. Documentation has become an important tool that must be worked on, as it represents a civilized and valued legacy for the mission, goals and strategy of organizations, associations, and charitable and humanitarian institutions.
The Centre enhances the performance of its partners in humanitarian work by organizing “workshops” and “simulation models” and “building evidence and standards for institutional work, and organizing discussion panels, taking into account the need to build and develop local and regional capacities, and network with governments and organizations working in the field to consolidate for a unique human experience through the work of this Centre.
The Centre seeks to establish theoretical and practical frameworks that support organizations, associations and institutions that plan and implement humanitarian and development projects, especially Arab and Islamic associations. It is to establish a system of institutional humanitarian work, in which all project work requirements are integrated from “building standards, guides, and methods of work, planning, implementation, evaluation, and measurement Impact, and documenting Experiences.” We are also working to build long-term alliances and partnerships, in which we take into account the needs of partners, and document them for an effective and lasting human experience.
The Centre primarily targets associations and organizations operating in the Horn of Africa, East Africa and North Africa, where the Centre monitors amazing humanitarian and development experiences in these areas carried out by Arab and Islamic associations, organizations and humanitarian institutions.
